A job is a unit of work that you define to automate commonly run tasks, such as active directory checklist, antivirus update, application scan, and disk cleanup.
Types of jobs include:
- AD Checklist
- Antivirus Update
- Application Scan
- Asset Information
- Disk Defragmentation
- ExBPA Checklist
- Missing Patches Request
- MSSQL Report
- Network Backup Configuration
- Temp File Deletion
Jobs are client specific. For example, a job can be assigned and scheduled only to specific client devices.
A script is a user-defined job, you can define your own job tasks by writing code to be included in OS and SQL scripts.
Scripts are partner specific. For example, a script can be created, assigned, and scheduled at the partner-level and the client-level devices.
